About Judy A. Steiner

     I enjoy painting subjects the way I see them, usually full of color!  While the translucent spontaneity of watercolors intrigues me,  I love the vibrant textures of oils.  Switching between allows me the freedom to explore both mediums in various ways.

Continuously trying new things and taking chances, Judy is evolving as an artist. Her audaciousness in experimenting with mediums and techniques has been a contributing factor in developing her colorful style “The spontaneity I experience working with gel plate printing continually excites me. It gives me a sense of freedom and enables me to express myself in a very rewarding abstract style. Adding collage elements brings another level of embellishing to my pulled prints.

     Many of my other loves show in my work, such as gardening, nature, travel, and collections.  I also enjoy cooking, but haven’t figured out how to express that in a painting!  Enjoy browsing my site and please contact me if you have any questions.
